Meet Dwayne!  His hard work and lifestyle changes led to 45 pounds of weight lost in the last 6 months!  Dwayne is absolutely crushing it, he feels amazing and he can keep up with his kids on the ski slopes!!  Read on to hear more about Dwayne’s journey in his own words.  

“My main goal when I started at the gym was to lose weight. At first it seemed like a daunting task and I didn't think I could do it. But I gave it a shot as you have to start somewhere. Over the past 6 months I have lost 45lbs, and I feel amazing! It is such a great feeling setting a huge goal and accomplishing it.

I feel so much better about myself both mentally and physically. I have more energy, I sleep better, more focused, and make healthier eating choices. Most importantly I'm able to keep up with my kids on the ski slope or the hiking trail. Swift river crossfit has such a positive impact on my life for me to be the best me!

I knew I needed to do something to get healthier. The problem was not knowing where to start. I knew nothing about going to the gym and working out. 

I remember one day talking to a co-worker about crossfit, and he was like, "it's 1 hour of your day, and they will guide you on what to do". I was sold! It couldn't get that much easier for me.

The first day I walked into a class, I was nervous and intimidated, but that was quickly erased when the coach introduced herself and already had a plan set up for me. To someone who is thinking about it…make that first leap and you'll be glad you did. No matter your ability, there is a spot for you. The amazing coaches will guide you to help you accomplish your goals.”
