Over the years, I have talked to lots of people who have those certain body parts where they would like their fat to disappear. The most common spots? The stomach, hips/butt, and under the arms. So, I’m going to tell you exactly how to lose the fat in those parts, and anywhere else. Here’s the deal: You can’t actually spot reduce. (but didn’t you just say you were going to show how to do it? Keep reading :-)There are all kinds of ads out there for products that promise to “burn off belly fat” or “tone your legs.” These are empty promises. There is no magic pill or lotion that will go right to the area where you want to lose fat and zap it away for you.The truth is that overall fitness and a healthy lifestyle are the tools needed to reduce overall body fat. Your body will decide where the fat is lost (no you can’t send what you lose to other parts lol). If you lose fat in general, you’ll improve those areas you wanted to target too.You can kick that process up a notch by building muscle. We aren’t talking bulky, bodybuilder muscle. We’re talking about very small increases. You won’t ever suddenly become “bulky”— that actually takes a lot of work and a lot of intention...but that’s a story for another time.
Our Fat-Loss Program
So how do you use fitness to reduce body fat and build muscle? There are lots of ways to do it. We’ll tell you how we do it, and we know it works because we do it ourselves. We use a combination of cardio and strength training, which burns calories and builds muscle. It also helps you move better in everyday life. So that means we don’t just run for 30 minutes or just lift weights for 3 sets of 8. Our program balances both, in a fun and challenging way (PLUS our workouts are different everyday so you won't get bored). One of our workouts might look something like this: Do deadlifts at a certain weight and then row 400 meters—repeat for 20 minutes.. Sometimes we focus on either strength or cardio in a single session. But overall, we focus on both! The end result is you get stronger and build muscle. You burn calories and body fat, and you move better outside of the gym.No, you won't instantly have abs lol. That’s a long-term goal. But your clothes will start to fit better, and you’ll be able to see some visible changes. You’ll also be able to see clear progress in your workout log.Another secret: You can accelerate your progress by improving your diet. (We can help with that, too!)That spot where you want to lose fat? It's “right here.” Right here in our gym.Now click [THIS LINK] and come talk to us. We’ll make a plan for you and tell you exactly how you can lose fat everywhere!Inspired by Two-Brain Business and Two-Brain Media.
