If there's one thing that makes camping even more delightful, it's the food we enjoy in the great outdoors. Today, I'm sharing one of my favorite campfire recipes – Grilled Foil Packet Fajitas. Not only are these fajitas flavorful and satisfying, but they're also fuss-free, making them ideal for camping adventures. And with the addition of @SieteFoods Fajita Seasoning, it's never been easier to whip up gourmet meals amidst nature.


Note: Any peppers you have on hand will be delicious. Even all green peppers.

For the Marinade:


  1. Marinate the Chicken: Begin by combining the chicken slices with olive oil, fajita seasoning, and the fresh lime juice in a mixing bowl. Let the chicken soak up this zesty marinade for about 10-15 minutes, giving it the perfect infusion of flavors.
  2. Prepping the Packets: Tear off sizable sheets of aluminum foil. You'll need 2 to 4, depending on how much you want in each packet. Equally distribute the marinated chicken slices among the foil sheets, layering them with the vibrantly colored bell peppers and onions.
  3. Seal and Grill: Fold the foil over the ingredients to create a sealed packet. Once your campfire or grill is roaring and ready, place the packets on a grill or on the embers for about 15-20 minutes.
  4. Serving Time: Once cooked, carefully open the packets (beware of the steam!), and serve your fajitas on warm tortillas. Top with fresh cilantro and any of your favorite accompaniments.
